in the non rolled over image, imagine hard packed frozen dirt, pig shit slick mud cake grass on top, then wrap what is left of your mind around trying to pilot a bike that is in need of more dirt oriented tyres...thats Alton laughing in his helmet at how he ended up off trail...

in the rolled over image, the lads and their knobbies come back to ensure safety of the herd as Alton motions back to where the difficulty was...one thing to take note in this pic is the skid mark in the slick mud that Alton did for about 20 feet whilst traveling less than 10 mph...slick indeed...
